Eyeliner/ Eyelash Enhacement

Permanent eyeliner can enhance sparse lashes or give more definition to the eyes. It is ideal for active people, contact-lens wearers, those who cannot apply eyeliner, or those whose makeup always smudges/ fades. Permanent eyeliner or eyelash enhancement helps women and men enrich the look of their eyes. It eliminates the need to outline eyelids with liquid liners or pencils and improves the appearance of missing, thin, or light-colored lashes. Permanent eyeliner allows people to swim, shower, or exercise without having makeup smudges. It provides safety and convenience to people with oily skin, vision problems, or unsteady hands. It is also recommended to the ones who wear contact lenses, have watery eyes, or are allergic to regular makeup.

Lash Line Only

If you go for more of a delicate enhancement a lash line only liner may be just for you. For those who don’t want to look like they have any makeup on an eyelash line only enhancement is perfect for it will simply make it appear that your lashes are thicker and darker as opposed to a full eyeliner look.

We will work with you to design the perfect permanent eyeliner to your preference. Our technique includes the use of an effective topical anesthetic that numbs the eye lid area for maximum comfort.

Is Permanent Eyeliner For Me?

• Have difficulty applying eye liner because of poor sight or unsteady hands.

• Those allergic to regular eye makeup causing eyes to water or itch. Worry no more, we are using pigments that are hypo-allergenic.

• Those with thin or non-existent lashes.

• Have trouble finding eyeliner that won’t smudge throughout the day or stay in place till the end of the night.

• Have fear of “naked eyes” (If you’re one of those who wake up in the morning and run to the mirror to put on eyeliner and mascara you’re not alone! Many women are terrified of letting their significant other see them with “naked eyes”)

Eyeliner Pre-Procedure Care

• Absolutely NO DIRECT sun or tanning for at least 3 weeks prior to your procedure.

• Must be off Accutane for 1 year – NO EXCEPTIONS!

• Avoid alcohol or caffeine prior to procedure. This will minimize any oozing, swelling or excess bleeding during or after the procedure.

• If possible, schedule appointments around your menstrual cycle. Having a procedure while on your menstrual cycle can make you hyper-sensitive at the procedure site.

• Arrive with your eyeliner on how you like it if you would like to show me otherwise, no makeup.

• Bring eyeglasses as needed. DO NOT wear contacts for eyeliner procedures. (If you wear contact lenses, you will not be able to wear them for 24-48 hours after your procedure.)

• You must be fully healed after any eye surgery (e.g. LASIK) before your appointment.

• You must stop using any eyelash growth product (like Latisse, Revitalash etc.) at least one month prior.

• If there are any bumps, blemishes, pimples, active cold sores,  irritation of the skin of any kind, moles, bruises or other skin imperfections in or around the procedure site , Face Naked Studio technician will reschedule your procedure  until the area/s of concern are completely healed or the mole is removed and healed.

Before & During Your Procedure

*Prior and/or during your procedure you will be required to fill out forms/waiver (unless you completed it when booked your appointment online) including a medical history that a Face Naked semi-permanent make-up artist will review. She will evaluate your eyelid structure and discuss techniques and colors with you. After the ideal design and color are determined, topical anesthetics will be applied to numb your eyelids. She will continue to apply anesthetics during the procedure to keep you comfortable. Before and after photos will also be taken for your file with your colors recorded for future reference. Only the client will be allowed in the treatment room.

Who Is Not Suited For This Procedure?

• Pregnant

• Diabetic (require doctor’s clearance)

• Undergoing Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)

• If there are any bumps, blemishes, pimples, active cold sores,  irritation of the skin of any kind, moles, bruises or other skin imperfections in or around the procedure site , Face Naked Studio technician will reschedule your procedure  until the area/s of concern are completely healed or the mole is removed and healed.

Eyeliner After Care

• Clients need to follow all after care instruction for maximum results of their procedures.

• Your eyelids will be slightly red, mildly swollen, and a little tender immediately after your procedure. This will go away within a few days. At first your eyeliner will look darker and thicker than you want, but it will lighten and soften after healing.

• Gently use a cold cloth to pat away any excess lymph (fluid) from the procedure area immediately, before and after you to go bed, and upon rising in the morning.

• Do not touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers, they may have bacteria on them and create an infection during the healing process.

• Apply a very thin layer of the ointment provided to you by Face Naked Studio technician every morning and night.

• Do not apply make-up on procedure area, tinting of lashes or brows, sun, soap, sauna, steam exercise, hot yoga, Jacuzzi, swimming in chorine pools or in the ocean for 10 days post procedure.

• Do not rub or traumatize the procedure area while it is healing, pigment may be removed along with crusting tissue.

• Sleep on a clean satin pillowcase while the procedure area is healing.

• If you have any questions, please notify your technician immediately.

• You cannot wear mascara or eye shadow during the first week of healing. You will be applying ointments, so please keep this in mind when scheduling your procedure.

• Remember all procedures must heal, peel, and fade. This process can take up to 10 days.

• The color will look much darker for the first 10 days

• You may use ice packs to relieve swelling.

• Absolutely no direct sun or tanning prior or after, for at least 3 weeks.

• Avoid direct shower water on the treated area after procedure.

• Avoid extreme exercise (sweating) immediately after the procedure. Sweat will fade the pigments prematurely.
