your Full Brows  appointment: avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and any other related blood thinners. Tylenol is fine.

• Wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid the shower for several days. Baths are recommended.

• Do not work out at least 2 hours prior to the appointment as it can make you bleed as well as the body heat expands the pores.

• You can come in with or without makeup. I will clean and sanitize your skin prior to working on the skin. Feel free to bring some pictures of eyebrows that you really like.

AFTERCARE

• Hair strokes WILL appear crisp, darker and bold at first, but will soften up in appearance as the tissue heals.

• The area will shed taking some color with it this is normal. The area will begin to oxidize and darken over the 1st month.

• It’s important to start with a slightly darker color as it will fade after it heals.

• Everyone’s skin heals differently and most clients develop patchy areas or the appearance of fading after the first treatment. *  It is important to understand that this is a two part process and the second touch up treatment will complete the procedure and, after healing, you will see the finished result.

• NOTE: Some residual swelling is normal for ALL procedures.  The area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red & irritated. This is all 100% normal.  DO NOT PICK.   These symptoms will dissipate each day and vary on an individual basis. Color WILL fade/soften anywhere from 40% to 60%.  At the touch up we will fine tune any area that has faded too much.

• Healing is specific to each client.

• It is important to realize that you will need a color boost every 12-18 months to maintain its fresh natural appearance.

• Fading will happen after each procedure.  We do not have control over your bodies healing process.  You may need to powder and/or pencil even after the healed results.  This is an enhancement to your natural brows not a permanent one.   You will be given a guidance on how to care for your brows during the initial healing period, this includes:

• Do not get eyebrows wet for 7 days

• Use the balm prior to getting into the shower, washing your face or going to the gym

• Do not remove balm, pat gently with a towel if water has beaded on top of the balm

• Do not pick at your eyebrows, this may start to peel and or scab since they are healing leave them alone. Do not pick scabs if any appear

• Do not apply make up on your eyebrows for 7 days

• No Anti-Aging creams on the brow area

• Do not scratch your eyebrows during the 14 day healing process

• No tanning beds for the first two weeks

• Avoid sauna or steam room for the first 14 days after your treatment

• IT IS RECOMMENDED TO STAY OUT OF THE DIRECT SUN 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT AND 2 WEEKS AFTER.  Plan Accordingly.

• You are not a good candidate if you have very LARGE pores or Severely Oily Skin.  Your results will appear softer/solid or powdered looking.

EYELINER/ EYELASH ENHANCEMENT

Permanent eyeliner can enhance sparse lashes or give more definition to the eyes. It is ideal for active people, contact-lens wearers, those who cannot apply eyeliner, or those whose makeup always smudges/ fades. Permanent eyeliner or eyelash enhancement helps women and men enrich the look of their eyes. It eliminates the need to outline eyelids with liquid liners or pencils and improves the appearance of missing, thin, or light-colored lashes. Permanent eyeliner allows people to swim, shower, or exercise without having makeup smudges. It provides safety and convenience to people with oily skin, vision problems, or unsteady hands. It is also recommended to the ones who wear contact lenses, have watery eyes, or are allergic to regular makeup.

LASH LINE ONLY

If you go for more of a delicate enhancement a lash line only liner may be just for you. For those who don’t want to look like they have any makeup on an eyelash line only enhancement is perfect for it will simply make it appear that your lashes are thicker and darker as opposed to a full eyeliner look.

We will work with you to design the perfect permanent eyeliner to your preference. Our technique includes the use of an effective topical anesthetic that numbs the eye lid area for maximum comfort.

IS PERMANENT EYELINER FOR ME?

• Have difficulty applying eye liner because of poor sight or unsteady hands.

• Those allergic to regular eye makeup causing eyes to water or itch. Worry no more, we are using pigments that are hypo-allergenic.

• Those with thin or non-existent lashes.

• Have trouble finding eyeliner that won’t smudge throughout the day or stay in place till the end of the night.

• Have fear of “naked eyes” (If you’re one of those who wake up in the morning and run to the mirror to put on eyeliner and mascara you’re not alone! Many women are terrified of letting their significant other see them with “naked eyes”)

EYELINER PRE-PROCEDURE CARE

• Absolutely NO DIRECT sun or tanning for at least 3 weeks prior to your procedure.

• Must be off Accutane for 1 year – NO EXCEPTIONS!

• Avoid alcohol or caffeine prior to procedure. This will minimize any oozing, swelling or excess bleeding during or after the procedure.

• If possible, schedule appointments around your menstrual cycle. Having a procedure while on your menstrual cycle can make you hyper-sensitive at the procedure site.

• Arrive with your eyeliner on how you like it if you would like to show me otherwise, no makeup.

• Bring eyeglasses as needed. DO NOT wear contacts for eyeliner procedures. (If you wear contact lenses, you will not be able to wear them for 24-48 hours after your procedure.)

• You must be fully healed after any eye surgery (e.g. LASIK) before your appointment.

• You must stop using any eyelash growth product (like Latisse, Revitalash etc.) at least one month prior.

LIPLINER

Lips are an important beauty feature of the mouth. They form a smile and show emotions. They help “frame” a person’s teeth and determine attractiveness. When lips are well shaped and balanced, they align with the center of a person’s face and have even sides. The upper lip and lower lip should match and should be equally proportioned. Lip liner can be applied very lightly for a soft, natural look or heavily for a dramatic look. Although most women prefer a more natural lip shade, I am able to custom-blend my pigments to match your favorite lipliner, please bring that as well. Perfect for everyone whether you want a subtle brightening effect to lips, create fuller lips or correct asymmetrical lips/ color.

FULL LIPS

Who wouldn’t want full gorgeous lips and a youthful natural blush of color? After a lip treatment at Face Naked you never have to worry about smearing lipstick on your teeth, color bleeding past the edges of your mouth during dinner or reapplying that lip tint just to maintain some color. Instead you can be confident that your lips will always be on point and that your color will not wear off.

Treatment will begin with a consultation regarding the shape and color of your choice. We recommend bringing your everyday lipstick with you to ensure that we match a color you are most comfortable with.

Lip Blush: For those who just want the appearance of that “just bitten” look an opaque/sheer lip blush may be right for you. This is also ideal for men who just want a subtle brightening effect to their lips. Its perfect for the au naturale type of gal.

Full Lips: If your goal is fuller lips a Full Lip treatment does wonders. Permanent makeup can create fuller looking lips far more effectively than botox or fillers can. It is really the only thing that can effectively correct asymmetry. A “Full Lip” treatment is a combination of lip liner and lip color. The use of a soft lip liner can redefine the shape of lips and corrections in asymmetry and shape.
A Permanent Lip Treatment Can Dramatically Improve:
1. Lip Definition
2. Symetry
3. Loss of color from the aging process
4. Darkening of color due to smoking
5. Thin Lips
6. Ashy Color
The result is a youthful pout enhanced with the color of your choice. No more smudging or bleeding and having to reapply throughout the day. Now you can look fresh all day long!

HOW PERMANENT LIPLINER & COLOR CAN HELP YOU
Permanent lip liner and color can improve the appearance of lips for women and men. Lip procedures can either enhance the beauty of well-shaped lips or re-shape lips. It helps lips appear more defined without surgery or fillers and restores color to lips that are too pale. Permanent lip liner eliminates the daily use of pencils to outline, fill-in, or reshape lip borders. Permanent lip color is the solution to de-emphasizing age lines around the lips and preventing lipstick from “bleeding” into surrounding areas. Lip tattooing helps correct and balance the symmetry of lips that are uneven, too thin, too thick, or scarred. It can also enhance the natural color and shape of “perfect” lips.
